It works, or Work it!

God has given to each one a measure of faith.

You may be aware of this truth or you may not. For those who do not let it be now known that since you are made in the image and likeness of God, you have already been given a measure of faith. You have also been given a measure of trust. You operate it everyday in relationships. It began in your home with your parents and other relatives.

For those who already know that you have been equipped with a measure a faith - I would like to ask you - Have you learned that it works or did you work it?

Living or walking by faith is taught and can be learned.

Just like when you were a child and you were given legs.

If you had normal legs, your parents knew that when the time came, your legs would carry you places. It works, but in order for it to work, you had to work it, you had to develop your leg muscles and bones in order to be able to take the weight of your body. It is so with faith as well. God knew that the faith He gave you works. He knew that when the time came and if you received proper teaching your faith would develop to the place that you would be able to overcome obstacles in your path.

Use the time you have been given to learn how to work your faith, so that you are successful

Who will teach you? Are you ready to learn from me?

I have learned, that faith, (trust in God) comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ. He is the author and perfecter of faith (trust in God). God is pleased with those who “work their faith” (and put their trust in God). This (faith, belief or trust in God) is not just a mental assent, but a heart response to the truth as revealed by God the father, or Jesus, or the Spirit which is seen by action.

The word of Christ comes to you through the Bible, through a preacher, a blog post or directly through the Spirit. Once you have heard his voice, act on it (on what you have heard from Him). This will develop your faith (trust in God). This process has a repeat to it. You will see the result of your obedience either immediately or after sometime. Keep doing His word!
