I want to thank my God for keeping me and my family all through last year after the pandemic began and the first wave ended. We got to move around a little more freely than when the lock down was in force.
It is almost a year into having my own website and getting such a good response from people from all over the world. It's over a year for my podcasts (in Hindi and English languages) which I started during the lock down. My podcasts have reached people in countries I never dreamed might ever happen. Thank you my blog readers for choosing to read my articles and get inspired, informed and transformed by the renewing of your mind. I take this time to thank Hubhopper studio for being my podcast host and distributor.
I am re-reading the Bible from the beginning. I have already finished reading the first of the five awesome books written by Moses the servant of Adonai. The second book is a narrative of the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt the land of bondage and hard labour to the land of promise, of milk and honey. The land was inhabited by the Canaanites but due to their wickedness God gave this land to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel) by an agreement or covenant. The descendants of Abraham are the present day Israelites who inhabit the same land.
The first incident - Adonai decided to take the people of Israel by route of the Red Sea. They were brought out with a mighty hand even though the heart of Pharaoh the king of Egypt was hardened to not let the people go. Adonai showed his power by plaguing Egypt 10 times after which Pharaoh let them go. (Even during the plagues, God decides which plague will not be on the people of Israel living then in the land of Goshen in Egypt). But later changed his mind and chased them to bring them back. God decided to part the waters of the Red Sea in order for his people to cross over, but when the Egyptian army pursued them, the waters were unparted and the whole army of Egypt was destroyed.
A second incident - At the mountain where God gave the people an experience of his glory and presence, He decided that only Moses, Aaron, the two sons of Aaron and the elders of the twelve tribes of Israel were to come up the mountain and see his glory. Even though others may have had a desire to breakthrough and see, they were not permitted to do so.
A third incident - God had called Moses up the mountain, to give him the law for the nation of Israel. Moses waited six days before Adonai came to him on the seventh day. It was not God waiting for Moses to reach the top, but Moses after having reached the top had to wait on God. It was God who decided to come to him on the seventh day, even though on the surface it seems Moses was present much earlier.
There is no human or spiritual enemy that can harm you, there is no wild animal or force of nature that can harm you if God decides so. Is this a fantasy or a reality in someones life? In the kingdom of God, He decides what your portion will be. His decisions are based on righteousness and truth. [This lesson, I learn only from reading Genesis and Exodus.]
Adonai has the power to save the godly person, the one who puts his trust in Him. Trusting Adonai is a choice. When the report is bad, when negative thoughts run through your mind about how bad it is, you can still choose to trust Adonai to make his judgement or decision for you. Whatever He decides will stand because He has the power to make it happen which you and I don't.
"It's not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit," says the Lord.
Now to him being able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power working in us, to Him be glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen (LITV)
